Kentucky Arts Council Public Meeting Notice

FRANKFORT, Ky. – The governing board of the Kentucky Arts Council will hold its quarterly board meeting at 12:00 noon E.S.T., Friday, December 12, 2008, in the Board Room of the Louisville Ballet, 315 Main Street, Louisville, Ky.

Kentucky Arts Council board members are Todd P. Lowe, Chair, Louisville; Everett D. McCorvey, Vice-Chair, Lexington; Sonya Baker, Murray; Wilma Brown, Danville; Zev Buffman, Owensboro; Jean Dorton, Paintsville; Paul Fourshee, Cadiz; Ronald Johnson, Ft. Mitchell; H. Dean Jones II, Owensboro; Ed Lane, Lexington; Gail Russell, Louisville; Ann Duggins Schell, Louisville; Retha Tarter, Madisonville; Randall C. Vaughn, Lexington; and James R. Voyles, Louisville.

The Kentucky Arts Council is a state agency in the Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet that creates opportunities for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
