Kentucky Arts Council committee meets Feb. 1

FRANKFORT, Ky. — An ad hoc committee of the Kentucky Arts Council board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. EST, Feb. 1, 2012, in the Kentucky Arts Council conference room, Capital Plaza Tower, 21^st floor, 500 Mero St., Frankfort, Ky. The committee will meet to review panel recommendations.

The arts council is governed by a citizen board of volunteer directors appointed by the Governor to serve four-year, rotating terms.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, creates opportunities for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
