Kentucky Arts Council and EntrePaducah present business development workshop for artists
FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky Arts Council and EntrePaducah® will offer a free Business Workshop for Professional Artists, Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. CDT, at the Maiden Alley Cinema, 112 Maiden Alley, downtown Paducah, Ky.
The workshop will cover information related to small business assistance, developing a business plan, building a website, writing artist statements and marketing artwork. Workshop presenters are administrators and artists from across the state with varied perspectives and expertise in the business of the arts.
"We are very excited to partner with EntrePaducah to present this workshop," said Lori Meadows, executive director of the Kentucky Arts Council. "These kinds of partnerships help us stretch our limited dollars to assist Kentucky artists in their marketing efforts."
