2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games Provides Opportunity for Kentucky Proud Farmers, Producers and Artists to be Featured
FRANKFORT, KY (September 10, 2009) – Kentucky Proud farmers, producers, artists, and others have a unique opportunity for their products to be featured during the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games that will take place September 25 – October 10, 2010.
The Governor’s Office of Agricultural Policy will serve as a partner in the “Kentucky Experience,” during the games. This partnership with the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea and the Kentucky Department of Agriculture will feature and sample Kentucky Proud products during the 16-day event. Kentucky Proud members will have the opportunity for their products to be sold in the Kentucky Proud Product Pavilion, which will be located on the Horse Park grounds.
Kentucky Proud Members interested in having their products considered for resale at the Product Pavilion are being asked to complete a preliminary survey to gauge interest in participation by October 15, 2009. The attached form can also be obtained from http://agweg.ky.gov. If you are not a Kentucky Proud Member and would like to become one please go to www.kentuckyproud.com for an application.
There will be an application and selection process as planning for the Kentucky Proud Product Pavilion progresses. Please keep up-to-date on application information, by visiting http://agweg.ky.gov.
The Kentucky Experience will be providing an opportunity for over 400,000 guests to experience all the sights, sounds and tastes of Kentucky without having to leave the Horse Park. This includes an interactive facility where you can learn everything about our state from our agricultural heritage, to the many tourism destinations Kentucky has to offer.
