Frankfort, KY. (July 11, 2006)- The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board and the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation will a hold a joint two-day board meeting Thursday July 20 starting at 1:00 PM CDT and Friday, July 21 starting at 8:30 AM CDT. It will take place at Wolf’s Banquet and Convention Center in Henderson, KY.

On Thursday evening board members will travel to Little Kentucky Smokehouse, LLC in Union County for a tour of the facility and dinner on the grounds at 5:00 PM CDT. The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board assisted in the development of this meat processing plant with emphasis on pork products. The expansion project allowed Little Kentucky Smokehouse, LLC to develop a source verified “Kentucky Fresh” pork product line utilizing Kentucky raised hogs.
