Tobacco Companies Make Final Phase II Payment

RJ Reynolds, Phillip Morris USA, and Lorillard Tobacco companies have partially complied with the North Carolina Special Court order issued last month which directed the companies to make the fourth quarter 2004 Phase II tobacco payment with 8% interest from December 15th to the date of the payment. Although the companies have made their final Phase II payment they are still disputing the 8% interest required by the court.
