MEDIA ALERT: Southern Lights Stroll
WHO: Kentucky Horse Park and Kentucky Horse Park Foundation
WHAT: The 9th annual Southern Lights Stroll is a 3-mile run/walk through the Southern Lights: Spectacular Sights on Holiday Nights displays at the park, with approximately one million lights along the scenic roads of the Kentucky Horse Park. Southern Lights is consistently named one of the top winter attractions in the South by tourism professionals, and will open to vehicles on Friday, November 26.
WHEN: Wednesday, November 24, 5:30pm walk-up registration; 6:45pm run/walk begins.
WHERE: Kentucky Horse Park Visitor Information Center
WHY: Southern Lights and the Southern Lights Stroll are significant fundraisers for the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation, which helps the park build and maintain show facilities, conduct special research initiatives, complete landscaping projects, and host special art exhibits.
Southern Lights Stroll participants are asked to bring food donations for God's Pantry and local animal shelters.
