LEXINGTON, KY (May 11, 2005) The Lexington Kennel Club will sponsor a Puppy Match, May 21 at the Kentucky Horse Park, featuring approximately 150 puppies representing a wide variety of breeds.
This informal show allows puppies as young as 3-months-old to try their paws at showing. Junior Showmanship classes also allow kids to try showing their dogs for the first time.
The show and on-site registration (for some classes) begin at 10 am. This is a good opportunity for park visitors to learn more about various dog breeds in an informal atmosphere. Watching the Puppy Match is included with park admission.
