Kentucky Horse Park

          LEXINGTON, KY (June 10, 2005)  Kentucky native and country singing artist John Michael Montgomery will perform a concert in conjunction with the Country Heir Hunter Jumper Show on Saturday, June 18, at 8 pm at the Kentucky Horse Park. 

          John Michael has had 11 number-one singles and sold 15-million albums. 

          Proceeds from the concert at the park will benefit the John Michael Montgomery Foundation.

          Tickets are $35, on sale now through Ticketmaster and at the Kentucky Horse Park the day of the concert.  General admission ticket price includes admission to the park, the Country Heir Grand Prix at 3 pm, donkey races at 6 pm and the concert at 8 pm.

          The Kentucky Horse Park is open seven days a week, from 9 am to 5 pm.  Admission is $14 for adults, $7 for children ages 7-12 and free for children six and under.   Admission includes the Kentucky Bloodlines exhibition and the American Saddlebred Museum.


          The Kentucky Horse Park is a working horse farm/theme park and equine competition facility dedicated to man’s relationship with the horse.  The park is an agency of the Kentucky Commerce Cabinet that hosted more than 900,000 visitors and 15,000 competition horses in 80 special events and horse shows in 2004.  The park is located at Exit 120, Interstate 75, just north of Lexington.  The place to get close to horses, the park is open daily March 15 to October 31, and Wednesday through Sunday, November 1 to March 14.
