LEXINGTON, KY (February 3, 2005) The Kentucky Horse Park has been honored to land the cover photo on the 2005 BellSouth Telephone Directory for the Greater Lexington area.
Featured in the photo is Todd Waronicki, Riding Instructor for the park, astride a stunning Lipizzan horse, in front of the Breeds Barn (the fabulous Lipizzans will be among the breeds featured in the Iberian Horse Weekend, May 28-30 in the Breeds Barn – another great reason to visit the park).
“It is truly an honor for the Kentucky Horse Park to be featured on the 2005 cover of The Real Yellow Pages from BellSouth,” said Lisa Jackson, Director of Marketing and PR for the Kentucky Horse Park. “As Lexington’s premier attraction, we are thankful that BellSouth has given us this opportunity to let members of the community learn more about the park and our many special events. The directory is full of many other unique attractions, organizations and businesses in the Bluegrass - all just waiting to be discovered.”
The park will be open from 9 am until 5 pm Wednesday - Sunday through March 14; admission is $9 for adults, $6 for children 7-12. From March 15-October 31, the park is open seven days a week. Admission is $14 for adults and $7 for children ages 7-12. Children six and under are always admitted free of charge. Admission includes the American Saddlebred Museum.
