Largest Arabian Horse Show of the Year Set to Begin
LEXINGTON, KY (June 27, 2005) Arabs will be invading the Kentucky Horse Park by the hundreds for the Region 14 Silverama Arabian Show, June 29-July 3. The fabulous Arabian and half-Arabian horses will compete in literally dozens of classes that include driving, Western, native costume, English, side-saddle, jumping, and much more.
John Nicholson, Executive Director of the Kentucky Horse Park noted, “This particular Silverama Arabian Show is widely considered the best regional show in the country, by owners and trainers, so we’re honored that they continue to choose our park as their venue. He continued, “It is such a thrill for our park guests and staff when we’re filled to capacity with these stunning Arabs. They are such fine, exquisitely beautiful horses, it’s a pleasure just to be in their presence.”
Admission to the Silverama Arabian Show is included with Kentucky Horse Park admission.

The Kentucky Horse Park is open seven days a week, from 9 am to 5 pm. Admission is $14 for adults, $7 for children ages 7-12 and free for children six and under. Admission includes the Silverama Arabian Show and the American Saddlebred Museum.
The Kentucky Horse Park is a working horse farm/theme park and equine competition facility dedicated to man’s relationship with the horse. The park is an agency of the Kentucky Commerce Cabinet that hosted more than 900,000 visitors and 15,000 competition horses in 80 special events and horse shows in 2004. The park is located at Exit 120, Interstate 75, just north of Lexington. The place to get close to horses, the park is open daily March 15 to October 31, and Wednesday through Sunday, November 1 to March 14.
