The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea will be closed all day on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, and then be open normal hours (8:00 am - 8:00 pm) on November 28, providing visitors with exciting possibilities to find Kentucky made presents on this traditional kick-off holiday shopping weekend.

Demonstrating artisans and events over the Thanksgiving Weekend include: Friday, November 28, from 10:30 – 3:30 – Woodcarving by the Berea Welcome Center Carvers; and on Saturday, November 29, from 10:30 – 3:30 – Goose Feather Christmas Trees Created by Joanne Hobbs.

Convenient to visitors on this traditional holiday shopping weekend, the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, is located at 975 Walnut Meadow Road, just off Interstate 75 at exit 77 (Berea). The Center’s exhibits, shopping, and travel information areas are all open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the café from 8 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission is free. The Center currently features works by more than 650 artisans from 100 counties across the Commonwealth.
