Southern Delight Offers Tasting of Sauces and Seasonings at Kentucky Artisan Center
On Friday July 14, Southern Delight Foods of Bowling Green, will offer a tasting of their gourmet sauces on grilled meats, breads and additional foods from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea.
Southern Delight Gourmet Foods began over twenty years ago by Bart Anderson. Enjoying the wonderful aroma coming from the family grill, as his Dad cooked summer-time feasts, Anderson began his life-long love of barbecue. In his early twenties, he began experimenting with making his own barbecue sauces and after nearly twenty years his first recipes were ready. To date Anderson’s sauces have earned eight national awards. On Friday, Bart will offer foods created with his “Smokey Pecan Peppercorn” sauce and his “Classic Seasoning.”
Southern Delight Sauces are regularly available at the Kentucky Artisan Center, located just off Interstate 75 at exit 77 (Berea). The Center’s exhibits, shopping, and travel information areas are all open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the café from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
