The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea will be closed Sunday, Jan. 1, for the New Year’s Day holiday.

The center will re-open on Monday, Jan. 2 with new winter hours of 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. with the cafe open from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Visitors can shop, enjoy a meal at the Artisan Cafe, and view the exhibition “An Artful Array: Bowls by Kentucky Artisans” through Feb. 25, 2012.

Convenient to visitors throughout the year, the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea is located at 200 Artisan Way, just off Interstate 75 at Berea exit 77. The center’s exhibits, shopping and travel information areas are open daily. Winter hours from Feb. 2 - March 30 will be 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. with the cafe open from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Admission is free. The center currently features works by more than 650 artisans from 100 counties across the Commonwealth and a special exhibit “An Artful Array: Bowls by Kentucky Artisans.” For more information call 859-985-5448 or visit the Center’s website at www.kentuckyartisancenter.ky.gov
