Earl Pitts, American This Weekend On "Kentucky Afield" Radio
The radio commentator with the daily,” Ya know what makes me sick?” editorials, sounds off about fishing on “Kentucky Afield” Radio this weekend, July 24 and 25.
Everyone knows an Earl Pitts. Well wake up America! This weekend, meet the original. Pitts, host Russ Kennedy and producer Charlie Baglan get away from social stresses to farm pond fish in Mason County. Syndicated on radio stations nationwide, the opinionated Earl Pitts, American’s wacked-out thoughts on solving of life’s quandaries always makes us say, “hum.” The creative genius behind the character is Gary Burbank. An air personality for decades in Louisville and Cincinnati, Burbank still calls Kentucky home and, like Pitts, loves to fish. What’s different is instead of a short editorial, we have the comic all to ourselves for a half hour.
“Kentucky Afield” Radio is a production of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. For stations and air times, check http://fw.ky.gov/kyafieldradiostations.asp or listen online.
