The Kentucky Commission on Human Rights Board of Commissioners will hold its regular monthly meeting at 9 am on Thursday, April 15. The meeting will be at the headquarters located at 332 W. Broadway, Ste. 700, Louisville, Ky. The commission expects to rule on a number of discrimination complaints with findings of no probable cause to believe discrimination occurred.

The commission is the state authority in Kentucky that enforces the Kentucky Civil Rights Act and federal civil rights laws. The Kentucky Civil Rights Act makes it illegal to discriminate against people because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, familial status and tobacco-smoking status. The law protects in the areas of employment, public accommodations, housing, and financial transactions.
