Frankfort, KY - The Kentucky State Police Hazard Post has recovered stolen property valued at $438,000. Items recovered include a Freightliner Tractor Trailer, a backhoe, a bulldozer, an RV, two flatbed trailers and several recreational vehicles.

“This case shows the dedication of the Kentucky State Police to protecting our citizens and solving crimes,” says Kentucky State Police Commissioner Mark Miller. “Our detectives are dedicated and their persistence pays off.”

KSP, in connection with The HIDTA Task Force, first discovered some of the stolen property on Monday in the Brownsfork section of Perry County. Further investigation found other stolen items. The property is believed to have been stolen from Indiana, Illinois and Pikeville.

State Police have arrested two people in connection with the case. Ricky Couch (45) and Jeffery Couch (23), both of Hazard, are lodged in the Perry County Jail. KSP are still looking for Denver “Butch” Couch in connection to this case. Anyone with information with his whereabouts is asked to call State Police.
