Kentucky Office of Homeland Security Extends Grant Application Deadline
FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 6, 2010) – Because of recent flooding in the Commonwealth, the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security has extended by two weeks its application period for the 2010 State Homeland Security Grant Program.
Applications will now be accepted by hand delivery or mail until 4:30 p.m. EDT on Friday, June 11, at the Homeland Security offices at 200 Mero St., Frankfort, Ky. 40622.
“We have received quite a few requests to extend the application period in light of flooding affecting much of the state,” said Deputy Executive Director Gene Kiser. “Our staff will be available to offer assistance with any questions regarding the application process.”
