Frankfort, KY - The Kentucky Historical Society offices, exhibitions, Martin F. Schmidt Research Library, Special Collections Reading Room, and Stewart Home School 1792 Store will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of the July 4 holiday. The KHS exhibitions, library, and 1792 Store will be open regular hours on Saturday, July 5.

Hours of admission to the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History and the Old State Capitol are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The Kentucky Military History Museum is closed temporarily for upgrades. Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children ages 6-18, and free for children ages five and under. Veterans and AAA members receive a discount and admission is free for Kentucky Historical Society and Kentucky Junior Historical Society members.

Hours for the Martin F. Schmidt Research Library are 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Admission to the library is free. The Stewart Home School 1792 Store is open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
