Governor Fletcher Appoints Members to the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Private Investigators
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed two members to the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Private Investigators.
Boone County Sheriff Michael A. Helmig, of Hebron, is a graduate of the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice and is a member of the Northern Kentucky Police Chiefs Association, the Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police, the Boone County Public Safety Communications Center Board of Directors, the Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association, the National Sheriffs’ Association and the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force Board. He is married to Bonnie Helmig.
Retired Sgt. Michael Ober, of Louisville, is a licensed private investigator. He served in the United States Marine Corps during Desert Storm.
The Kentucky Board of Licensure for Private Investigators is made up of seven gubernatorial appointees. The board regulates and controls the licensing and conduct of private investigators within Kentucky.
