Governor Fletcher Appoints Anderson County Magistrate
Lawrenceburg businessman to serve remainder of current term
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Martin D. Harley, of Lawrenceburg, as magistrate for the 2nd District of Anderson County.
Harley is the owner of Harley Properties, a real estate investment business, and Harley Limousine Service in Lawrenceburg. He is a graduate of Anderson County High School and attended Kentucky State University. He is a member of the Lawrenceburg Landlord Association Board of Directors and is married to Carolyn Harley.
The 2nd District magistrate office has been vacant since the resignation of Hubert Shields earlier this year. Harley will serve the remainder of the term in accordance with the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.
