Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Member to the Executive Branch Ethics Commission

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Ronald L. Green, of Lexington, to the Executive Branch Ethics Commission.

Green is an attorney with the Lexington law firm of Boehl, Stopher and Graves LLP.  He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Murray State University and a juris doctor degree from the University of Kentucky.  Green is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Fayette County Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Kentucky Defense Counsel and the American Health Lawyers Association.  He is married to Pamela Chestnut.

The Executive Branch Ethics Commission is responsible for administering and enforcing the provisions of the Executive Branch Code of Ethics, which establishes the ethical standards that govern the conduct of all executive branch employees.  The code of ethics was enacted to promote public confidence in the government of the Commonwealth and its employees.
