Cedar Lake Lodge officer to serve on commission

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Clyde D. Lang, of Louisville, to the Kentucky Commission on Services and Supports for Individuals with Mental Retardation and Other Developmental Disabilities. 

Lang is the chief financial officer and vice president of finance and administration of Cedar Lake Lodge Inc., an intellectual disability care facility in Louisville.  He received a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Louisville and master of business administration degree from Bellarmine University

Lang is a delegate to the American Network of Community Options and Resources Board of Representatives and is a member of the Kentucky Association of Private Providers.  He served as a member of the HB 144 Commission on Mental Retardation Subcommittee and is past president of the Kentucky Association of Residential Resources.  He is married to Mary A. Lang.

The Kentucky Commission on Services and Supports for Individuals with Mental Retardation and Other Developmental Disabilities was established by House Bill 144 during the 2000 General Assembly.  The commission advises the Governor and the General Assembly concerning the needs of persons with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.
