Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Bath County Judge-Executive
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Lowell B. Jamison, of Owingsville, as judge-executive of Bath County.
Jamison is a self-employed farmer and general constructor. He is a member of the Bath County Cattlemen’s Association and the Owingsville First Church of God, and is married to Brenda Kay Jamison.
The office of county judge-executive was left vacant following the resignation of Walter Shrout in March. Jamison will serve the remainder of the current term in accordance with the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.
