Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Member to the Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed retired Army Col. James H. Fallin, of Lewisport, to the Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs.

Fallin is the executive director of the Hancock County Industrial Foundation.  He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brescia College.  Fallin previously served as Hancock County Judge-Executive.  He is chairman of the Hancock County Museum and past chairman of the National Committee on Rural Development in Washington, D.C.  Fallin is a member of the Green River Area Development Council and the Kentucky Historical Society Executive Board.   He is married to Sharon S. Fallin.

The Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs was established by the General Assembly in 1996 to address matters of military significance to Kentucky.  The commission works to preserve and expand national defense and military activities in the commonwealth.
