Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Members to the Kentucky Bicycle and Bikeway Commission
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed two members to the Kentucky Bicycle and Bikeway Commission.
William T. Gorton III, of Lexington, is an attorney for Stites and Harbison, PLLC. Gorton received a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and a law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He is counsel to the Kentucky Rails to Trails Council and an assistant professor at the University of Kentucky, where he teaches environmental law and regulation. He is married to Robin Brown.
Bobby D. Webb, of Bowling Green, is a certified public accountant with Montgomery and Webb, PSC. Webb is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and is married to Brenda Webb.
The Kentucky Bicycle and Bikeway Commission is made up of seven gubernatorial appointees. The commission is charged with assisting the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet in representing the interests of bicyclists and promoting the best interest of the bicycling public.
