Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Member to the Kentucky Board of Licensure of Marriage and Family Therapists
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Melissa D. Wade, of Louisville, to the Kentucky Board of Licensure of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Wade is a law student attending the Louis D. Brandies School of Law at the University of Louisville. She is a fundraising chair for the Black Law Students Association and a member of the Brandeis Law Journal. Wade received a bachelor’s degree in English writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
The Kentucky Board of Marriage and Family Therapists is made up of seven gubernatorial appointees. The board is in charge of regulating marriage and family therapist licenses and overseeing that all licensed marriage and family therapists in Kentucky practice within the state’s code of conduct.
