Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Member to the Manufactured Home Certification and Licensure Board

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Bill W. Poynter, of Lexington, to the Manufactured Home Certification and Licensure Board.

Poynter is the owner of Affordable Housing in Lexington.  He received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in marketing from Western Kentucky University.  He has served on the board since 1995 and is married to Priscilla Poynter.

The Manufactured Home Certification and Licensure Board is made up of seven gubernatorial appointees.  The board is responsible for licensing retailers, certifying installers and issuing certificates of acceptability to qualifying manufactures.
