Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Member to the Charitable Gaming Advisory Commission
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed John R. Wilson, of Anchorage, to the Charitable Gaming Advisory Commission.
Wilson is an attorney for Ruck, Wilson, Helline and Brockman. Wilson received a bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University and a law degree form the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association and the Kentucky Association of Trial Attorneys. He is married to Margaret Wilson.
The Charitable Gaming Advisory Commission is made up of nine gubernatorial appointees. The commission provides ongoing advice and input to the Office of Charitable Gaming and the Kentucky General Assembly and reviews matters affecting charitable gaming within the commonwealth.
