Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Member to the Kentucky State Board of Examiners of Psychology

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Amanda Creekmore-White, of Somerset, to the Kentucky State Board of Examiners of Psychology.  White will serve a four-year term as an at-large member.

White is the communications associate for The Center for Rural Development.  She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in integrated strategic communication and sociology and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in organizational communication and leadership from Marist College. White and her husband, Brandon, have one son.

The State Board of Psychology is made up of nine gubernatorial appointees. The board examines and licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession of psychology and recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality.
