Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Members to the Kentucky Workforce Investment Board
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed three members to the Kentucky Workforce Investment Board.
Michael L. Simpson, of Bowling Green, is the president and owner of Chandler Property Management. Simpson received a degree in community health and personnel administration from Western Kentucky University.
Lisa A. Araya, of Ft. Thomas, is the senior director of community relations for Hosea Property Movers, LLC. Araya holds a degree in public relations and communication arts from Xavier University.
Andrew J. Frauenhoffer, of Danville, is the executive director of the Office of Employment and Training in the Department For Workforce Investment. Frauenhoffer holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.
The Kentucky Workforce Investment Board is made up of 25 members. The board is charged with developing policies to help Kentuckians have the training, education and skills necessary to get and retain jobs.
