Governor Fletcher Appoints Boyle County Fourth District Magistrate

Ruth Peek Ryan will serve remainder of her late husband’s term

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Ruth Peek Ryan, of Danville, as magistrate for the Fourth District of Boyle County. She replaces her late husband, James Ryan, and will serve the remainder of his term. That term ends this year.

Ryan attended the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky. She retired from state government following 35 years of service as an offender records specialist supervisor.
