Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Member to the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services
FRANKFORT, Ky. - Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Kathy Elaine Hines, of Liberty, to the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services.
Hines is an EMS director for Casey County EMS. She received her paramedic license from EMT-paramedic training in Somerset. She is a member of the Casey County 911 Board and is married to J. C. Hines.
The Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services is made up of 18 gubernatorial appointees. The board is charged with regulating EMS licenses and ensuring all licensed and certified EMS workers in Kentucky practice within the state’s code of conduct for emergency services.
