Governor Ernie Fletcher appoints member to the Kentucky Board of Licensure of Marriage and Family Therapists
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Stephanie Katherine Head, of Simpsonville, to the Kentucky Board of Licensure of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Head is a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bellarmine University in psychology and her master’s in social work, marriage and family specialization from the University of Louisville. Head is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, the Kentucky Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Kentucky Division of the National Association of Social Workers.
The Kentucky Board of Marriage and Family Therapists is made up of seven gubernatorial appointees. The board is in charge of regulating marriage and family therapist licenses and overseeing that all licensed marriage and family therapists in Kentucky practice within the state’s code of conduct for practicing therapy.
