Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints Members to the Kentucky Long-Term Policy Research Center Board

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Jason Brent Legg, of Florence, and Jeffrey Scott Jobe, of Glasgow, to the Kentucky Long-Term Policy Research Center Board.

Legg is a field director for Congressman Geoff Davis.  He is a graduate of Transylvania University and the Hansard Scholars Programme for Parliamentary Government at the London School of Economics in London, England. Prior to his current position, he served as the legislative liaison and chief information officer for the Kentucky Education Cabinet.

Jobe is the owner of Jobe Publishing, Inc.  A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he is a member of the Governor’s Information and Technology Commission, the Kentucky Press Association, the Boys and Girls Club and the Cave City Chamber of Commerce. He is married to Susan Jobe.

The Kentucky Long-Term Policy Research Center Board is made up of 21 members, four of which are appointed by the governor to represent the executive branch and six at-large gubernatorial appointees. The board coordinates state government’s information resources to provide systematic and comprehensive use of that information to guide policymakers concerning critical trends and alternative futures.
