Governor Ernie Fletcher Appoints District Judge for the 56th Judicial District

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher announced today the appointment of James Rodman Redd, III, of Cadiz, to the office of District Judge for the 56th Judicial District. The district includes Caldwell, Livingston, Lyon and Trigg Counties.

Judge Redd fills the vacancy created by the resignation of the Honorable William G. McCaslin.

Judge Redd, a practicing attorney for eight years, received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his juris doctorate from the University of Kentucky. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, president of the Cadiz Rotary Club, commissioner of the Trigg County Little League Football, and founder of the Cadiz United Methodist Church/ Big Brothers Big Sisters After-School Program. 

The appointment is effective immediately.
