Governor Fletcher Appoints Members to the My Old Kentucky Home Advisory Commission
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher today announced the appointment of Ronald R. McCubbin, of Bardstown, and Jessieanne H. Wells, of Cox’s Creek, to the My Old Kentucky Home Advisory Commission.
McCubbin is a United States Marshal for the Western District of Kentucky. He received a bachelor’s degree in justice administration from the University of Louisville. McCubbin is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Sons of Union Veterans and the National Youth Sports Coaches Association. He is a recipient of the Medal of Valor, Life Saving and Community Service Awards from the Louisville Police Department.
Wells is a senior purchasing agent for Jim Beam Brands, Inc. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the War of 1812, the Nelson County Roundtable, the Nelson County Homemakers and the Spencer and Bullitt Counties Historical Societies. She is married to Daniel L. Wells.
The My Old Kentucky Home Advisory Commission is made up of 11 gubernatorial appointees. The commission provides ongoing attention to the maintenance, furnishings and repairs of My Old Kentucky Home House Museum and to any addition to the grounds of the My Old Kentucky Home State Park.
