GOVERNOR FLETCHER’S FIELD REPRESENTATIVES TO VISIT CUMBERLAND REGION

FRANKFORT, Ky.-Willard Hansford and JP Wiles, representatives of Governor Ernie Fletcher, will be visiting throughout the Cumberland Region starting Wednesday, July 11, 2007 to address constituent questions and concerns. This is an opportunity for citizens to meet with a member of Governor Fletcher’s staff. 

“As the seat of Kentucky government, Frankfort should be accessible to all reaches of the state,” said Governor Fletcher. “Our field representatives fulfill that need by allowing citizens to ask questions and voice concerns within their communities, and in turn, have those questions and concerns heard in Frankfort.”

Field representatives perform a variety of services by acting as a liaison to Governor Fletcher’s office, various cabinets, agencies and local communities.  From problems with roads to community projects, as well as other issues requiring government assistance, field representatives coordinate with local, state and federal officials to find responses to constituent inquiries.
