Power Out at Capital Plaza Tower, Fountain Plaza Shops in Frankfort; Employees to Stay Home
Building to be closed all day

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Dec. 6, 2011) – State employees who work in the Frankfort Capital Plaza Tower or in Fountain Plaza Shops should not report to work today as the building will be closed.

A transformer failed overnight, shutting off power to the building. Repairs are underway.

Employees in the Tower should contact their supervisors if possible but should not report to work today. All other state employees should report to work as usual.
