FRANKFORT, Ky. — The first meeting of the High Performance Buildings Advisory Committee, established by House Bill 2, will be Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 110 of the Capitol.  The Committee will discuss consulting with architects, engineers, builders, energy and conservation organizations; standards and guidelines; and assisting the Secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet, Jonathan Miller, in developing high performance building standards for the construction and renovations of public buildings in the Commonwealth. 

Members of the HPBSA Committee are:

• Mark W. Ryles - Education Cabinet
• Larry Owsley - Kentucky Council on Post Secondary Education

• Scott Guyon - Appointed by the Governor from the design and construction industry
• Clive Pohl - Appointed by the Governor from the Kentucky Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council
