Governor’s Garden expansion to include fruit trees
FRANKFORT, Ky.— The Governor’s Garden, located on the grounds of the state-owned Berry Mansion, has donated approximately 375 pounds of produce to the Access Soup Kitchen in downtown Frankfort, with 565 pounds harvested overall, since the first seeds were planted last spring. On Thursday, Nov. 19, the garden will expand to include 24 fruit trees.
