Fire Marshal Investigating Munfordville Fire

     The Kentucky State Fire Marshal’s Office has begun an investigation into the cause and origin of a house fire Wednesday in Munfordville. According to initial reports, one person was killed and another person injured. They were not identified.

     Fire departments from Munfordville, Bonnieville and Horse Cave battled the blaze. The fire was reported at about 5:30 CST.

     Deputy State Fire Marshal Todd Price responded to the scene.

     The State Fire Marshal’s Office is part of the Public Protection Cabinet.
