FRANKFORT, Ky.  (April 15, 2005) – Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet (EPPC) Secretary LaJuana S. Wilcher will join Education Cabinet Secretary Virginia G. Fox for a “Dumpster Dive” at LBJ Elementary School in Jackson. The event will teach students about the importance of recycling and will reveal what items in their school’s trash can be recycled.

Kentucky Education Commissioner Gene Wilhoit will participate. The recycling lesson is part of the EPPC’s week-long celebration of Earth Day.
