EPPC secretary appoints legal counsel
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 29, 2008) – Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet Secretary Robert D. Vance today announced the appointment of a Louisville attorney as executive director of the Office of Legal Services. The position is the cabinet’s general counsel.
F. Ryan Keith has practiced in the law firm Stoll Keenon Ogden for the past three years, where he was a member of the firm. He has represented clients in a range of legal matters, including government contracts and procurement, intellectual property, employment and taxation.
Keith previously practiced for nearly four years in the Washington, D.C., law firm Crowell & Moring. He also clerked for one year for Judge Boyce F. Martin Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Keith holds a Bachelor of Arts from Centre College in Danville and a law degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va. He is active in numerous professional organizations and is president-elect of the Kentucky chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
