Albright was a contract electrician working at a coal preparation plant under construction at the Cardinal mine operated by Warrior Coal Co. in the Manitou community in Hopkins County. According to initial reports, Albright was working in a bucket lift installing wiring when the bucket became stuck, then sprang upward. The victim struck his head on a beam overhead.      It is the eighth fatality at a Kentucky coal mine in 2008. Yesterday’s incident and two others are currently under investigation.
