Extension Granted to Employers to File Quarterly Report and to Pay Unemployment Contributions

 
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Education and Workforce Development Secretary Helen Mountjoy today signed an administrative order granting employers in Kentucky a two-week extension to file their Employee’s Quarterly Unemployment Wage and Tax Report (UI-3) and to pay their unemployment insurance contributions for the fourth quarter of 2008.

Due to significant and devastating hardships experienced by employers as a result of this week’s winter storm, the January 31 due date for filing UI-3s and for payments of contributions has been extended to February 16, 2009.
