Environmental Awareness Survey Results Released
FRANKFORT, Ky. — Every five years the Kentucky Environmental Education Council (KEEC) and the University of Kentucky Survey Research Center conduct a survey of environmental knowledge, attitudes and self-reported behaviors among a random sample of adult Kentuckians. The first survey was conducted in 1999, another in 2004 and the latest in the spring of 2009.
KEEC uses the survey to measure progress concerning Kentuckians knowledge about their environment as well as to design programs in those areas where there appears to be the greatest need for education.
The report is attached.
