| The Office of Geographic Information (OGI) and the Geographic Information Advisory Council (GIAC) is sponsoring Map Gallery IV, going on now thru February 6 in the tunnel between Kentucky's Capitol and the Capitol Annex in Frankfort, Kentucky.

On display are over 75 maps and posters featuring the many productive uses of GIS technology by state agencies. Included in the gallery are maps from:
- UK's Kentucky Geological Survey
- Jefferson County Public Schools
- Kentucky Mine Mapping
- KY Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet
- Kentucky State Police
- Kentucky Infrastructure Authority
- Property Valuation Adminstrator
- Governor's Office for Technology
- Many more
The map display is a great way to get a broad overview of how the Commonwealth is using mapping technology to improve the way it delivers services.
