Valentine Promoted to Re-Entry Coordinator

Kentucky Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner Kimberly Potter-Blair today announced the promotion of Anna Valentine to the new Re-Entry Coordinator position at the Kentucky State Reformatory (KSR). She officially assumed the post on October 18th.

Valentine has been employed with the Department of Corrections since 2003.  She began her career as a Corrections Officer at KSR. She moved through the ranks in Security and was ultimately promoted to dayshift Captain in 2008.

“My goal is help the inmates succeed,” said Valentine. “I want to make sure that they have established a firm foundation in order to ensure their success.”

Valentine is a 2009 graduate of the Commissioner's Executive Leadership Program.  She is originally from Billings, Montana but currently resides in Smithfield with her son Billy.
