Roger Liter Promoted to KCI Operations Manager
Kentucky Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner James Erwin today announced the promotion of Roger Liter to Operations Manager at Luther Luckett Correctional Complex, a position that oversees the Kentucky Correctional Industries (KCI) operations at the prison.
Liter is a 16-year veteran of the Department of Corrections (DOC). He began his career as a correctional officer at Luther Luckett and then moved into the Offender Information Services department at the prison. He started working with DOC’s KCI operations in 2004. Prior to his most recent promotion, Liter worked as a production supervisor with KCI.
“He is the epitome of putting the customer first, and going the extra mile to get a job done,” said Erwin. “Roger has undertaken several new projects with KCI recently and he always does so with enthusiasm. He is always looking for ways to make the KCI printing operation the best in the state.”
A native of Trimble County, Liter is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Police Administration. He and his wife live in Campbellsburg with their three children ages 19, 13, 11.
